Needz more Felguk...

Felguk is one of those names that you think it must one guy. Actually, Felguk is Felipe Lozinsky and Gustavo Rozenthal of Brazil. The duo has been together since 2006 and are really starting to take stride now with some major hits.

2nite is one of the hottest tracks out in the last couple months. I love it. The only downside is the lyrics remind me of Black Eyed Peas' Tonight. At least Sporty-O doesn't say mazel tov anywhere in the track. I played this for my "One Track Mix" two weeks ago and it went off. Thought I should share the brilliance with you:
Felguk feat. Sporty-O - 2nite (Original Mix):

Exceeder isn't nearly as good as 2nite. But I thought I'd throw it in because you can certainly hear Felguk's stamp on the remix. Lot's of the sounds from the previous track up in here. I believe this one came out first, but it certainly pumps, but works better earlier in the night.

Sharooz is coming back!

I just talked with Sharooz on Facebook. He's coming back to do another US tour next month and he's decided to stop into EL3CTRO POP ROCKS after playing in LA. Sharooz kills it every time, he's been to EPR, so I'm really excited to have him back. He also loves to party and is a good friend, so that's a bonus for me too. :)

Sharooz - Adrenalize (Phonat Deconstruction Remix):

Sharooz - Get Off (Original Mix):

Dylan Rhymes feat. Pablo Decoder - Kemptown (Sharooz Remix):

Love you long time?

These tracks certainly will. They're all about love. I thought I'd do an indie/electro love mix around February this year, but never got around too it. So now I have this folder of love related songs in iTunes that I don't know what to do with. Here's a few...

Phoenix - Lisztomania (Yuksek Remix):

Gramophonedzie - Why Don't You (Original Mix):

Laidback Luke - Need Your Loving (Original Mix):

Ellie Goulding - Under The Sheets (Baby Monster Remix):

Example - Watch The Sun Come Up (Fred Falke Remix):

Dubsteppin

I thought I'd take some inspiration from this week's DUBST3P POP ROCKS and post some of my favorite dub tracks. I pretty much don't know anything about dubstep, but occasionally I do come across dub tracks that I have to download because they're quality. Here's some of them:

Crookers ft Kelis - No Security:

Rico Tubbs – Hold That Sucker Down (Rico Tubbs Dub Remix):

Radiohead - Pyramid Song (Zeds Dead Illuminati Remix):

All good things must come to an end...

...so finish it right. That's where closers come in. I always have a few of these ready to go in my tracklist to finish things off with a bang. There's something beautifully introspective about these tunes and playing them makes me feel cooler than I am.

Heads We Dance – Take My Picture (Digitalfoxglove Surprise Remix):

Ellie Goulding - Starry Eyed (Russ Chimes Remix):

Dragonette - Pick Up the Phone (Michael Di Francesco (Van She) Mix):

Ultra Naté - Free (Sidechains remix) (BL Rewind 2)
